Social Media & Networking Policy
We value a positive and respectful community. Any use of social media (including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, texting, etc.) by a member to intimidate or harass another person will not be tolerated.
If an incident is investigated and found to be true, those involved may be called before the committee. A first offence carries a minimum 3-month suspension from the club. If non-members (such as family or friends) are responsible, the associated member may still be held accountable.
Code of Conduct
Respect on and off the track is non-negotiable. Any driver, crew member, or club member who enters another’s space and causes an altercation will be held responsible.
The committee may issue a penalty or fine for any conduct deemed unbecoming. Penalties must be served, and fines paid before membership is reinstated.
Liquor and Drugs
For everyone’s safety:
- No one involved in a race meeting may consume alcohol or use drugs within 12 hours prior to the event.
- Alcohol and illegal substances are not permitted in pit or racing areas while a meeting is in progress.
- Random alcohol and drug testing may be conducted. A blood alcohol level above 0.02% will result in immediate exclusion from the event.
- If there are concerns someone is under the influence, police may be contacted for formal testing.
