Racing with Heart Since 1960
Welcome to Nyora Raceway
Nyora Raceway began in 1960 as a safe and exciting place for a group of local teenagers to race their old, beat-up cars. What started as a grassroots initiative has since grown into one of Victoria’s largest and most respected speedway organisations.
Today, Nyora Raceway boasts over 150 active members – and growing each year – supported by a strong and generous community of 46+ sponsors, including:
Miles Mechanical Pakenham, Burson’s Pakenham, Tooradin Sports Club, John Duff & Co – Shell, Ramsdale Wreckers, Ultimate Awards, and Shannon’s Insurance, just to name a few.

A Track for the Fans
Our natural tiered spectator hill offers excellent views from any seat. The pits are generally open before racing kicks off, giving fans the chance to check out the cars up close and meet the drivers.
Grab a bite from our food vans up on the hill, or drop into the Cricket Club canteen next to the toilets – open and serving every race night.
Nyora Raceway isn’t just about racing – it’s about community, family, and adrenaline-filled fun. Whether you’re a die-hard fan, casual spectator, or looking to get behind the wheel, there’s always something happening at Nyora.
